Personally, Joanne has undertaken academic work on analysing the research base behind screen use in children and the effects this has on learning and development. She has also undertaken studying child development and neurodevelopmental conditions and recently completed training to use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-Second Edition (ADOS-2).

Children develop at all sorts of speeds and rates, however, from before birth they start to rely on primitive reflexes for their birth and ongoing development. These reflexes become integrated into the body and enable normal function. Some children don't integrate these reflexes and these reflexes can hinder natural development and can contribute to neurodevelopmental problems, behavioural difficulties and anxiety.
Retraining these reflexes can trigger the normal development process and aids in overcoming any difficulties being experienced

Get in touch if you would like an assessment of your childs development and a treatment plan or advice to overcome obstacles getting in the way of normal development.
